Building on your gifts and strengths, we will work together to empower you to live your best life. You may be feeling stuck, struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, insomnia, health challenges, relationship difficulties, or suffering from the effects of trauma. Therapy can help.

In a warm, collaborative, and respectful relationship, using an integrative, holistic approach tailored to meet your needs, you can learn to work with voices of self-criticism, identify and work with triggers, deepen self-knowledge, and find increased self-acceptance.

Through a values-driven lens, we will implement meaningful behavioral changes designed to build confidence and purpose in your daily life. Whether you’re coping with co-dependency, identity- and ageism-related issues, or substance use issues, I’m confident that change is possible.

I have experience working with professionals, managers, executives, people with medical histories, creatives, and people going through life or career transitions. I use a trauma informed approach using integrative psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, parts work, and somatic approaches.

As a culturally competent therapist with a diverse array of clients, I meet you where you are with kindness, compassion, openness, and sensitivity.

Through weekly therapy, you can feel calmer, more at peace, make decisions more easily, be able to improve boundaries in your relationships, and sleep better at night.

Education and Experience…

Before becoming a therapist, I owned an integrative private physical therapy practice in New York City, where mind-body approaches were featured, including yoga therapy, breath work, movement, body scans, and mindfulness. I bring over 20 years of these skills and experience to the practice of psychotherapy.

I am also a certified integrative yoga teacher, have studied trauma sensitive yoga, somatics and was a professional modern dancer in Austin, Texas.

I earned my first Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, where I graduated with honors, and my second Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College.

I am currently studying attachment-based therapy, have completed level 1 and advanced Trauma treatment programs, and have studied mindfulness for many years.

No problem is too big or too small to bring into therapy.

It takes courage to ask for help.

The first step is the hardest. The rest will unfold.
