Gabriella Reamer Newer 900x1200 Working Together…

Imagine feeling uninhibited by unhelpful habits and connected to your purpose. I understand how exhausting it is when intrusive thoughts and worst-case scenarios play out endlessly in your mind, keeping you from prioritizing your own needs and desires.

As a mindfulness-based practitioner, I look forward to collaborating with you on your path towards self-acceptance and empowerment.

Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we will work together to identify goals derived from your core values, strengthen your inner voice and find your motivation to live fully and authentically.

Through a feminist, multicultural lens, I help college students and entry level professionals, women, gender expansive and neurodiverse individuals who feel stuck in  their struggles with depression, anxiety, PTSD, body image, disordered eating, emotional regulation, and interpersonal issues.

Let’s break the patterns of trauma, abuse and self-abandonment together. By finding creative ways to accept and learn from emotions that once felt unbearable, creating a fulfilling, balanced, and integrated lifestyle is attainable.

Education and Experience…

With five years of experience in the mental health field, I have a background in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as trauma and crisis-informed care.

I am passionate about incorporating creativity and the mind-body connection into the healing process and use contemplative, existential and psychodynamic approaches when appropriate.

I have primarily worked with populations of intersecting and marginalized identities, and social justice is a key component to my framework.

I currently hold an Interdisciplinary BA in Contemplative Psychology, Gender and Women’s Studies, and Creative Writing from Naropa University, and am earning an MA in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling at New York University.

You are the expert of your own experience.

It is my privilege to walk alongside you on your path in finding your own unique purpose.
