Working Together…
When you’re constantly battling intrusive thoughts, carrying unresolved grief, or struggling to set boundaries in relationships, self-doubt and emotional overwhelm can take over. We’ll work together to unpack what’s holding you back and build a path forward. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
I work with high-achieving professionals and college students navigating OCD, anxiety, grief, depression, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. My approach integrates mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. Together, we work to loosen rigid thought patterns, build emotional flexibility, and reconnect with the values and relationships that matter most to you.
I’m also trained in EMDR, where we actively work with memories and experiences that continue to trigger anxiety, fear, shame, or painful relationship patterns. By processing what still feels unresolved, you can respond to your life as it is now, rather than through the lens of what happened then.
Therapy with me is thoughtful, practical, and personalized. I tailor our work to your individual needs, drawing from evidence-based interventions while staying attentive to the person behind the symptoms. We may work on managing anxiety, navigating difficult emotions, strengthening boundaries, challenging avoidance, or responding differently to thoughts that feel overwhelming.
As a queer-identified New Yorker, I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care rooted in the belief that feeling seen, safe, and understood is essential to meaningful therapy. I strive to create a space where you can bring your full self without fear of judgment.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to offer curiosity, perspective, and clinical support as you move toward greater self-understanding, connection, and lasting change.
Education and Experience…
I earned my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John’s University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Before joining Sentient, I worked with adults and children navigating anxiety and depression at Balance Mental Health, where I also specialized in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
As an undergraduate at the University of Tampa, I was an active member of the Pride Organization, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and gender-affirming access across campus. This experience further shaped my commitment to providing inclusive, affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals and creating spaces where all clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Therapy isn’t just about coping
It’s about creating a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling and freeing.
